Purpose

The Monarchs Inner City Youth program is committed to developing young athletes through sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect. This Code of Conduct ensures that every participant, parent, and coach contributes to a positive, safe, and supportive environment.

Expectations for Athletes

  • Always demonstrate respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents.
  • Arrive on time and prepared for all practices, games, and events.
  • Display good sportsmanship—win or lose—with integrity and humility.
  • Avoid foul language, bullying, or disrespectful behavior.
  • Take responsibility for personal actions on and off the field.
  • Follow team rules, dress codes, and safety guidelines.

Expectations for Parents/Guardians

  • Encourage your child to give their best effort and support the team.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward coaches, officials, and other parents.
  • Do not confront coaches or officials during games; schedule discussions privately if needed.
  • Refrain from the use of drugs, alcohol, or profanity at any Monarchs event.
  • Promote teamwork and respect for all youth participants.

Expectations for Coaches & Volunteers

  • Lead by example with integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all players.
  • Encourage skill development, confidence, and respect among athletes.
  • Enforce the Code of Conduct consistently and fairly.

By signing below, I agree to follow the Monarchs Inner City Youth Code of Conduct and understand that violations may result in suspension or dismissal from the program.
